A very special trek in Nepal – the Manaslu circuit trek plus entering the remote Tsum Valley October 9 – November 4, 2027.
A 26 day adventure around Mt Manaslu, the 8th highest mountain in the world at 8156 metres in altitude! The days are spent trekking along beautiful rivers, through rhododendron and pine forests, past mani walls of prayer stones honoring the Buddha. This trek is now regarded by many as Nepal’s best trek with amazing views of the Ganesh Himal, Mt Manaslu and gaining the high pass crossing of Larkye La at 5100 metres. On the way we branch to the northeast up into the Tsum Valley – culturally Tibetan – a ‘Beyul’ (hidden Buddhist land) where we visit meditation caves, monasteries and views of the Himal range. Continuing back to the Manaslu circuit, there are several monasteries, many suspension bridge crossings, beautiful villages and tea houses for our overnight stays all following the Buri Gandaki river valley. I found this trek geographically spectacular and a cultural reward at every turn! Hope you can join in!
