Ten days in Tibet – a unique tour to Tibet, China’s Special Autonomous region!
We travel via Kathmandu, Nepal, fly to Lhasa and have several nights to acclimate to the altitude. We arrange all permits and visas, transportation and have our own Guide, driver and bus for the whole tour. We will visit the iconic Potala, original winter palace of the 14th Dalai Lama, several monasteries such as Jokhang, the most holy of Buddhist Monasteries, Drepung, Sera, Ganden, Tshilumpo and the Norbulingka. We stay in 3 star hotels with breakfast. With unique visits to Gyantse, Shigatse and Tingri with a day trip to Everest Base Camp on the Tibet side and a tour of the highest monastery in the world at 5200 metres – Rongbuk Monastery. We plan to make our way back to Nepal via road depending on conditions at that time! A once-in-a-lifetime journey!
